About me
I am A.R. Kaalmly – a big picture expert – who, after many years of calm research, observation and reflection has figured out a simple, practical and complete framework for long-lasting happiness … and success (happy success).

You could say I’m a specialist but, of a different kind – as in, I’m a generalist.
What difference does that make?
Happiness is a complex, or rather, a multi-disciplined area – which involves biology, psychology, spirituality, sociology, philosophy and much more. A specialist view of happiness – from any particular discipline – is therefore unlikely to provide a complete solution for happiness. Unfortunately, that’s what we’ve been doing for a long, long time – relying on a particular specialist view or another, because of which we end up with a limited view and a limited solution – one that doesn't always work, if at all. Whereas, what we really need for long-lasting happiness is to see and understand the complete picture – the big picture – which is only made possible by a generalist point of view, rather than a specialist one.
On top of that, life is unpredictable, which means our approach to happiness has to be flexible, adaptable, ever-changing and ever-innovating – which is why self-enablement (which brings out the ingenious innovator in you) is key. And such self-enablement has to be based on a solid foundation comprised of all relevant perspectives – which is where a generalist point of view comes in, again.
It is because of my ‘generalist specialisation’ that I’ve been able to define a simple, practical and complete solution to long-lasting happiness. As David Epstein, author of the New York time bestseller Range puts it - ‘in most fields – especially those that are complex and unpredictable – generalists, not specialists, are primed to excel.’
Just to be clear, I’m not saying that ‘specialist-specialists’ are of no use. They are very useful and much needed but, for specialist purposes only. And neither am I claiming that I know it all but, at the same time, I can say with confidence that I can offer you a framework that is truly holistic and does indeed work, that too effortlessly. And at the core of my approach lies self-enablement – my main aim is to share knowledge that reveals your innate wisdom to you. Wisdom that you can use to tailor my framework to your specific circumstances and desires – to create the truly happy life you want … and truly deserve.

Success is a double-edged sword … and it was cutting deep. For nearly two decades, I’d been living a successful but hollow and miserable life. Conventional approaches for success-based-happiness had propelled me into dark depths where I felt lonely, terrified, exhausted and was drowning rather than flying high.
Thankfully, the knowledge and insights I’ve developed since then, have not only helped me rise to the surface but have also formed a rather unique ship – a unique approach to life – which enables me to calmly sail on the seas of life. While sailing with this unique approach, every little endeavour is successful in one way or another; the little joys of life become abundant; and life is infused with happiness – happiness that grows day by day.
Not to say that there aren’t any challenging moments in my life, there are, but now I know how to navigate them – calmly – and get my happiness on track fairly quickly. And I also know how to learn from life, and apply its lessons to make happiness more of a certainty … even in the face of uncertainty!

I started my career as a pilot and later moved to the corporate world in the U.K., where I spent over two decades helping figure out the big picture for multi-million to multi-billion pound programmes. Being a multipotentialite (generalist), I was able to quickly adapt and excel in a wide variety of industry sectors. I worked for corporate programmes in healthcare, energy, cyber security, global trading indices, civil engineering and the defence sectors.
In 2016, I said no to the successful yet hollow and miserable life I was living, and dedicated my skills to figuring out the big picture of happiness. Later, I gave up my corporate career and dedicated myself to refining and capturing the approach to happiness – so that I can share it with the world.
I see this as my universal purpose – my calling. And I’ll be over the moon if I can make a little happy dent in the universe.
My ultimate mission is to become a catalyst in eliminating unhappiness and suffering from the world – to create a truly happy world in partnership with you and our fellow humans. Be it individual suffering (stress, poverty), or social suffering (inequality, racism, political corruption), or global suffering (climate change, pollution, animal cruelty, habitat destruction, pandemics) or any other kind of suffering – there is only one solution to end it all, and that is – individual happiness that arises from the awareness of our inner and outer worlds … and the interconnectedness between them. I believe that when most, if not all humans become self-enabled for their personal happiness; when they are truly happy, they will automatically create a society and a world free of suffering – a world full of happiness.

My aim and intention is to share my ‘secret’ to happiness – happy knowledge – with as many people, as swiftly and through as many channels as possible, but then there are no shortcuts … and I am a one man band as of now.
At the moment I intend to capture and publish the Kaalmly approach to happiness via a series of 3 books – as I said, there are no shortcuts, putting it all in one ‘bite-sized’ book just won’t work (I guess this fact is evident from the ‘one bite-sized book’ model of modern self-help). One has to approach happiness in stages, while building a firm foundation before moving to the next stage. Saying that, although my approach is in three stages (inner knowledge, outer knowledge and advanced knowledge), the benefits do start showing from the first stage onwards – in fact the majority (two-thirds) of the happiness can be realised in the first stage itself.
Anyway the crux of it is that, at the moment, I intend to share this knowledge via a book series and alongside, I intend to use this website as a means to share snippets of essential wisdom and to inform you of upcoming developments.
If you would like to be notified of developments like book releases, then please subscribe (below) with your email address. (I will also be sharing updates via instagram therefore you can also choose to follow my instagram account – link at the bottom and top of this page.)
At the moment I am not sending out a newsletter. If and when I do, I will separately ask you if you’d like to subscribe to it.

Scroll down for the EFF principle – my three-letter philosophy.
The EFF principle
This principle (silently) forms the very basic fabric of my approach to happiness. When applied to any aspect of life, it ensures balance and long-lasting happiness. It can be applied in many ways – and the more ways in which it is applied, the more robust the foundation of happiness becomes.
In simple words it means,
avoid excess – of any manner, in all circumstances;
avoid using force (if inevitable then only use enough to defend/protect yourself and not an iota more);
avoid acting through fear – ever;
promote equality – see others as your equals and yourself as an equal to them, be it anyone;
promote and ensure fairness – in all your endeavours;
promote and ensure freedom for all – inside and outside. More on this in the first few pages (intro) of my book – read the intro and first chapter free (via ‘Look inside’ or ‘Read sample’ feature) on Amazon. Click here to read.
